Isn't it statistically impossible for there not to be e.t. intelligence if the universe and time is infinite?

I suppose, The universe is infinite and we barely explored 1% of it. So there is a very good chance that there is intelligent life somewhere in the cosmos. There might just be E.T on the other side of the milky way. In fact, just this year astronomers discovered an extrasolar planet called GJ 1214 b. They say that this planet may have 75% water and 25% rock. There is a good chance of life on that planet. I hope there is.
