If i put my finger in the pencil sharpener will it become pointy?

I just finished the book called "The Witches" and i was reading how the witches had pointy fingers. Now i am jealous because i would LOVE to have pointy fingers becuase i think they would look so beautiful and stylish. So, i was wondering if i could just sharpen my fingers in a pencil sharpener. Would that work? I would like to make sure before i try it. Thanks!
