If an individual exhibits the dominant characteristic;do you know the genotype?

if an individual exhibits a dominant characteristic, it is expressed in it's genotype and phenotype. example if one has a dominant gene or character for tallness (T) it will be expressed as TT zygous (genotype) or Tt heterozygous (genotype).
